California Privacy Rights

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy for residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws. Which rights you have depends on where you live and on whether the law applies to us.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
Personal information we collect
In the past 12 months we have collected these categories, from you, your device, and our service providers:

We do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is needed to process your order, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you. We keep each category only as long as needed for these purposes, including tax and legal record-keeping.
Sale, sharing and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. However, analytics and advertising tags on the Site may collect identifiers and internet activity. Under California law this may be "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
To opt out: use any cookie or privacy-choices control on the Site, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (we honor it for that browser), or send an opt-out request through our contact form or to support@lumabylaura.com.
Your California rights
- Know and access the personal information we have about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Opt out of sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we only use it as needed to provide our products).
- Non-discrimination: we will not deny you products or charge different prices because you used a right.
Other U.S. states
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have some or all of these rights: access, correction, deletion, a portable copy of their data, opting out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling, and appealing our decision on a request. You can use any of them without paying a fee or receiving different treatment.
How to make a request
Use our contact form or email support@lumabylaura.com. Tell us your state of residence and which right you want to use.
- Verification: we match details you give us, such as your email address and a recent order number, against our records. We may ask for more information if we cannot verify you.
- Response time: we confirm receipt and respond within 45 days. Where the law allows, we may extend once by another 45 days and will tell you why.
- Authorized agents: an agent may submit a request for you with your written permission. We may still ask you to verify your identity with us directly.
- Appeals: if we decline your request, reply to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line within 45 days. We will respond within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
California "Shine the Light"
California residents may ask once a year whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing. We do not. Contact us with "Shine the Light" in your message.
California minors
If you are a California resident under 18 and posted content on the Site, you may ask us to remove it by contacting us.
Nevada residents
We do not sell covered information as defined by Nevada law. You may still submit an opt-out request using the contact details below.
