This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit lumabylaura.com (the "Site"), buy our products, or contact us, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

  • Contact and order details: name, email address, shipping and billing address, and the products you buy.
  • Payment information: handled by Shopify and our payment processors at checkout. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Account details: if you create an account, your login and order history.
  • Communications and reviews: messages you send us and any product review you submit.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you chose to receive marketing emails or text messages.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, and approximate location based on your IP address.

Information from others

We may receive information from Shopify and our service providers, such as delivery updates from shipping carriers or fraud-check results from payment processors, and from analytics and advertising partners.

How we use information

  • To process, ship and support your orders, returns and refunds.
  • To send order and service messages, and, only if you opt in, marketing emails or text messages.
  • To display product reviews.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site and prevent fraud.
  • To measure traffic and measure and improve our advertising.
  • To comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and runs checkout, accounts and accelerated checkout options such as Shop Pay.
  • Payment processors, which process your payment.
  • Shipping carriers, such as USPS and others, which deliver your order.
  • Judge.me, which collects and displays product reviews.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, such as Google Analytics and related analytics and advertising tags, which measure traffic and advertising performance.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law or to protect our rights, customers or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Cookies and advertising

We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar tools to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure how the Site is used, and show and measure advertising. Some of these are essential for the Site to work; others are for analytics or advertising.

How long we keep information

We keep order and transaction records as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle returns, and meet tax, accounting and legal requirements. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and analytics data only as long as needed for its purpose.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. Payments are processed over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International visitors

We operate in the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version here with a new date.
