1. Who we are

This website, lumabylaura.com (the "Site"), is operated by Cloudalien Technologies LLC, doing business as Luma by Laura ("Luma by Laura," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the policies they reference: our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Shipping Policy and Cosmetics Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order.

3. Product information is not medical advice

Our products are cosmetics. Product descriptions, images and other content on the Site are for general information only and are not medical advice. Read the label and product page before use, perform a patch test, and stop use if irritation occurs. Individual results vary, and cosmetic effects are temporary. See our Cosmetics Disclaimer.

We work to keep product information accurate, but descriptions, ingredient lists and images may contain errors or change. Always check the packaging you receive.

4. Orders, pricing and availability

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship your order. We may limit quantities, and may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, if we suspect fraud or reselling, or if a price or description was posted in error. If we cancel an order, we will refund any amount charged. Prices may change without notice.

5. Payment

Payment is processed through Shopify's checkout and our payment processors. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information and authorize us to charge your selected payment method for your order, including shipping, taxes and any applicable fees.

6. Shipping and returns

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, including our 60-day money-back guarantee.

7. Reviews and submissions

If you submit a review, comment or other content, you confirm it reflects your honest experience and does not infringe anyone's rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display it in connection with our business. We may remove content that is unlawful, off-topic, or contains personal or medical information.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images and product names, belongs to Luma by Laura or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use such as printing a page for your own records.

9. Third-party links and tools

The Site may link to third-party websites or use third-party tools. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

10. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Site for any unlawful purpose; to infringe intellectual property; to transmit malicious code; to scrape, spam or phish; to interfere with the Site's security; to place orders for resale without our permission; or to harass or harm others.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except as required by law. Nothing in these Terms limits your 60-day money-back guarantee or any consumer rights that cannot be waived.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luma by Laura and its owners, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luma by Laura from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Before starting a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it.

15. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the policies they reference are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version posted here, with its date, applies to your use of the Site from that date.
